Chapter three

Alexander POV

I was in the conference room in a meeting with these men who don't know when to make a good decision or come up with concepts for a problem and because of that I was getting  frustrated and wanted to leave this goddamn room. I kept quiet counting to ten trying not to throw a tantrum because it would not look pretty afterwards.

After another fifteen minutes of blabbering without anyone coming up with a solution as to how we can upper the stock trades I banged my hand on the desk leaving a crack in it as everyone in the room jumped clearly frightened at my outrageous behaviour and looks of fear on their face.

Well they should be afraid after all this bullshit.

"I've been here for the last hour and a half listing to your blabbering, stupidityf accusations and pointing of fingers but what I haven't heard is a solution to fix this fucking problem, so if you all want to continue be employers of this company or be employed anywhere else in this goddamn world you'll get me answers that I need by the end of this week and you all  know what will happen if you don't," I said grinding my teeth together while clenching and unclenching my fist ready to pound something.

I walked out of the room with anger and frustration written and exposed all over me. Everyone that saw me in the hallway stayed a good distance from me as they knew what my mood meant.

I went to my office and immediately started to trash it. I broke the chairs flipped the desk over and placed multiple dents my cabinets. After all that chaos I caused my anger still didn't leave me so I went out for some cool fresh air. Upon walking I went to my receptionist.

"I need my office to be looking brand new when I get back here as I can't work in that pile plus I have a meeting soon," I spoke to her in a deadly voice.

I really needed someone to take off loads of this work off my hands and to give me a helping hand when things went out of control business related I though, a person who will accompany me to all my meetings and take notes, help mentor, organize my diary as Sandra would be busy as she ECC of my company. Someone who I can depend on.

A P.A that's what I need. Someone to get my work done when fuckers can't do that. Someone that would stand by me and not get on top of my last nerves. Seems like a good idea to me.

"And while your at it send the word out that the CEO of A.R Company is looking for a personal assistance. If anyone is interested interviews will be done this Saturday, I need that person to begin on Monday.  I need to see there CV, work experience back ground checks and resumes," I added. Jamie shook her head.  Of everyone in this whole building I could count on her a lot. She is great with her job and dosent try to get my attention like the other women around here

"Of Course, Mr. Russel," she answered slightly timid but determined.

I walked out of my building and inhaled the fresh air deeply. I walked mindlessly down the street  headed to nowhere in particular. Somehow my feet led me in front of starbox and I was quite surprised. I wondered what could have led me here when suddenly I saw little Brielle walking towards the building.  finding Noelle nowhere in sight I drew up the conclusion that she was on her own. I quickly crossed the road and walked up to the smart girl and called out to her.

She sqealed when she she saw me and ran into my arms for a warm hug.

"Are you going to have ice cream with me today?" She asked with her eyes ocean blue eyes sparkling with hope that I wouldn't say no and I couldn't say no.

"Of course, did you think that I wouldn't keep my promise that I made to you," I said sounding disappointed.

"Of course not," she sanswered. Then I noticed that she was here alone again and asked her why.

"Brielle, did you come out here alone?" I aske in all seriousness.

She held her head down.

"Y-yes" she stuttered holding her head down low.

"And does Noelle know where you are," I asked again.

She shook her head then whispered a no before looking back to me.

"Will Elle be mad at me?" She asked on the verge of crying.

"No," I answered, "but you can't just leave a place without her knowing she'll get worried and wonder where you are. And if something were to happen to you she might've never forgive herself, do you want that?" I said to her.

"I guess not,"

"Come on I'll bring you back to Noelle and I'll make sure that she's not upset with you okay,' I assured her.

"But I wanted to get her a latte, she's been working ever since morning and she won't take a break even when madam Olivia said she could, I wanted to buy her favourite latte for her," she stated. Noelle must be happy and lucky to have Brielle in her life. This child could take care of anyone in this world.

I bought Noelle's famous vanilla latte and walked Brielle back to where Noelle was supposed to be. Upon entering I saw Noelle looking as gorgeous as ever in just jeans and a shirt. She froze when she saw me but it quickly went to a sigh of relief when she saw Brielle in my hands. She walked over to us and went straight to her sister inspecting her for injuries and anything bad present which there wasn't.

Elle, I-I'm so-sorry I left w-without telling y-you, a-and Im s-sorry f-for not listening t-to y-you, I d-didn't m-mean to I just w-wanted to b-buy you y-your f-favourite l-latte," Brielle stutterd out on the verge of tears. Noelle looked her dead in the eye and said.

"Oh honey, its okay I'm not mad at you. Dry your tears," she said wiping her stained cheeks. "I could never be mad at you, I'm just glad your safe okay baby,"

Brielle ran into Noelle's arms hugging her like her life depended on it.

"I love you Brielle, never forget that," she whispered in to the little girl's ears.

"I love you to Elle," she answered.

"Hey why don't you go and play with Sophie while I talk to Alexander here," she nodded her hair and gave Noelle the latte before she ran off to a little girl in a distance. While Noelle stood and faced me with her arms behind her back. I chuckled in my mind about her but noticed that she trust me due to her behavior. If she had folded her hand over her chest that would mean that she wants distance or trust me but not enough, but she placed her arms behind her which means that she is open and would happily speak or acomodate me with anything.

"Well Noelle we meet again," I started off she smiled lowly at this and damn that sounded good.

"Can't say that the pleasure is mine Xander," she answered with a smirk. She wants to play dirty now, I can play dirtier but if only she knew that.

"Well, girls got a mouth what a coincidence guess I better watch it with you," she chuckled lowly.

"How are you," I asked her.

"I'm fine now, thank you for bringing her back god knows what could have happened to her," she answered.

"She had good intentions," I ponder on.

"I know and that's what I love about my baby girl,"

"You need to stop working yourself so hard and start paying attention to you sometimes, Brielle told me how you didn't take your lunch break and that is why she went out to buy you that drink, she's worried about you."

"I'll be fine all I need to do is get a new job that can help me miraculously with cash flow," she said.

"So your a business man?" She asked.

"Why would you say that," I asked.

"Well your dressed in a suit, always checking the time on your watch like you have a meeting to attend in the next five minutes and you have that intimidating aurora of business, am I right?"

"Well you are very much right  how'd you know all this, intuition?"

She laughed "I studied business in college I got my motives from that,"

I checked my watch again and saw that I was now fifteen minutes late for my meeting the Kier industry. "Well Noelle looks like I have to cut this meeting short again, I have a lunch meeting to attend," I rushed out

"You can have my number if you want I guess, then maybe we could do this another time without meeting up like this of course," she said. I pulled out my phone and handed it to her. I watched as she typed her number in my phone and handed it back to me. I quickly said goodbye to Brielle and  left the cafe.

Just then an idea pooped into my head. She studied business in college then she's perfect for the job but I'm gonna need help to put this into full swing. I pulled out my phone and called my reliable yet annoying friend.

"Well look who decided to call his best friend in the whole wide world, how are you lexi oh wait are you missing me," he answered.

"Shut up Gage, I need your help with something or rather someone," I said.

"Oh, cranky, someone needs to get laid," He smiled.

"Gage this is not the time to be fucking around, I have a plan for a certain person who has caught my interest," to which he answered in his serious business tone.

"You like someone and want her close by you at all times but she isn't like other women who openly throw themselvesat you which makes you want her more, am I right," he was good too good.

"Technically yes, and right now I'm losing my mind about her, she's special in my eyes," I said noy caring if I sound sensitive for tye fist time in my life.

"Good for you friend, I'm happy, I just hope she can take you in all your stages. Now which girl do you have you eyes on," he asked.

"Noelle, Noelle Young," I smirked.
