“She’s been like that for a couple of months now.” Hoon pulled Claire’s blanket further over her chest. Max was sitting beside her across, staring with the worry still engraved on his face.

“What do you mean for months? She didn’t tell me anything,” Max answered. Partly, he kind of actually understand why he doesn’t know much about Claire for the past month—the past year, even.
