Like a stubborn goat, she slowly regained her confidence as she tried to shrug off the fear she felt.

"Since you are hell-bent on showing me your bad side, then do your worst and let the whole world see what kind of man you are."

"Anywhere but here would do."

I could hear her voice draw closer as I waited, a sign that she was bringing the argument to me.

"Take me to the bar."
