I picked up the call.

"Good morning ma, I haven't seen you in the office. Hope there is no problem?"

"Not at all my darling. I needed to rest today because of my trip tomorrow. Just take care of the company. If there is any problem, let me know."

"Alright ma, I wish you safe travels."

I hung up. Hmm, Gloria will not stop to amaze me. We still have good people that think of the well being of others. Anytime I decided that I was going to be late, Gloria would surely call me just to check up on me. But other staff will never try it.

Well, that is not a problem to me. I went to the living room and saw my breakfast on the table.

Why didn't the cook inform me of this earlier? I called her and asked her why she didn't call me to tell me that the food was ready.
