MICHIGAN

When I got to the venue of the conference, there were many fleets of cars. People were trooping in and out.

If I had known, I would have taken Gloria along with me. I got out of the Uber car, paid the driver, and entered the building.

The usher took me to where I sat down. The crowd was huge. When I entered the conference hall, I kept my face high and focused because I was very shy. This is my first time attending such a conference.

I sat still and greeted the man on my right-hand side and the man on my left. I wonder why the usher made me sit in the middle of two men.

I am sure Damien is in this hall. I was kind of nervous because I didn't know what would happen if our paths crossed.

I was focused and listened to the speaker who was speaking to us. But I noticed that eyes were piercing through my skin. I used my side eyes and looked at my right and left, the two men were taking glances at me.

What is this? They should focus and stop making me feel uncomfortable.
