I gradually dressed up for the date even though I wasn't sure of what I was going there for. My mom saw me and asked where I was going that night.

"I am going on a date with Damien," I said, putting on my wrist watch..

"Date with Damien? Have you forgotten that he is married?"

"Mom, I am aware but I just saw his message and I don't have to turn it down. Let me go and hear what he has to say."

"Really? He would have come over to this place if it was important, and not to invite you to a hotel that suits him."

I breathed deeply, "I understand you mom, but allow me to honor this invitation just this once."

"If you say so, but you have to be very careful of what you do. I don't have much to say," she said, and stepped back to her room.

I smiled because I know my mother to be very dramatic. I really understand how worried she can be but I have no option now.
