Vivian was forced to put on some makeup and also wear a turtleneck when visiting her mother in the hospital. The makeup helped her appear less pale, and the turtleneck covered the marks Steen had left on her neck.
However, her mother somehow still noticed that she looked tired and sad, but Vivian just said that it was because of work.
