27. Her place in my heart

When I brought Lona to werewolf society, she constantly resisted me. Although I was very sad, I knew she had her own thoughts. Respecting her thoughts was the only way for me to win her heart.

I had lived in human society, I understood their way of life. That was why I respected Lona's choice. Of course, being respectful didn't mean I let her keep distance from me.

The two of us were not familiar. If Lona always kept her distance from me while I didn't try to close that distance, she would forever be unable to understand me, nor accept me.

There were many conflicts between the two of us, the biggest one related to her ancestors. I understood why she was so stubborn about it but I couldn't let her get into danger.
