Dominic clenched his fists as he looked at the cell phone on the coffee table in front of the sofa in his huge living room. The clock marked close to 2:00 in the morning and he still had not received the call or the message that he had been waiting for so long.

He had only taken off his jacket and tie, but he still felt suffocated. His hopes that Aidan would communicate with him were fading.
