Lying

The next morning the roosters crowing made me wake up, I felt something heavy around me. I remembered that I had slept with my boss. It was no longer raining, on the contrary, it was sunny, the sky looked clear. I yawned, covering my hand with my mouth and got out of bed towards the window. It was all a mess, some trees were down, there were mud ponds, some things on the ground lying around, and so on. It had been a very strong storm so it was more than obvious that the damage would be major. I just hoped my parents and grandfather were okay.

Nick stirred in bed.

-Good morning," he says to me.

-Good morning," I turned, heading for the door, "I have some things I need to check on. The truth is, I have no idea what time my parents are coming. What time will you be leaving?

-We'll leave," he sat up in bed. He had the sheet around his waist so I couldn't see him... it. Who in their right mind sleeps naked in the cold? And to think that I was separated from his naked body by a thin cloth.
