Chapter Thirteen

                     I've taken the vows of marriage, I'm his wife, but the last thing I expect is to feel owned. I don't know what kind of relationship I've shared with him. But I look happy with him in the pictures. My friends say the same thing. 

      I wipe the tear as it slips down my cheeks. 

      We returned home after eating my favourite vanilla ice cream, mango ice cream with dry fruits. My mother made the second one for me. Dad brought it for me every weekend. I smiled thinking that was the best moment of my life. 

      It's dark in the room. The lamp light is enough to make everything visible. I could see the pitch dark at some corners of the hall. It makes me cringe.
