Chapter Thirty One

      My body gets numbed when I stare down at her message. My smile fades away. The loud music, all babble, noises play in the background. It's my heartbeat that is running rapidly, knocking in my ears. Dammit! She'll be the path to my grave. Vicky jounces me by my shoulder, " What happened? " He asks. 

     James stares down at the screen. He puts his hand on my shoulder, " Talk to her. It could be a prank. " He says.
