He signalled Mark with his hands to stay calm and remain in his hiding position, he turned and did the same to Andrew, signalling him to stay in his spot.
It was now twilight, the sound was now a couple of seconds away from the path, as it's steps and growling could be heard even more loudly than before.
The brothers braced up for what was about to come, their rifles set to fire, all pointed towards the path.
"Steady", Mark whispered with a breath of air he exhaled, as he aimed his rifle at the direction of the noise.

Mark and Andrew first noticed Lucas was missing by 9 PM. They had looked for him in his bedroom and outside the apartment but he was nowhere to be found."Could he have gone vampire hunting without us?", Andrew asked."Let's go and check his stuff, let's see if his custom is still in the apartment", Mark suggested.They both went back into their apartment and searched Lucas' room."Yes it is here", Andrew confirmed after finding it. His new clothes for hunting and mask were still in the shopping bag as they bought it from the mall earlier in the morning."So since he is not out hunting, what could he be doing?", he asked Mark.

The beta werewolves were in a race against time, they were running as fast as their four limbs could carry them. They had to get to Alpha White in time to inform him of their findings.Adalwolf howled as he approached his territory, he was five minutes away. The beta werewolf faced the incoming vampires head on as he crashed into them, ripping two apart in an instant. The others swarmed over it, tearing and biting it from all angles. It fought back, breaking free and ripping a further two apart before it was once again covered by dozens of vampires. It stood no chance against their numbers and coordinated attacks.The others moved into the werewolves' territory destroying their homes and burning them. The other beta werewolves came together as one to stand a fighting chance against the thousands of vampires in their home. They were about 98 and outnumbered 1:51."Attack!", a beta werewolf screamed as they ran towards the vampires in battle formation breaking through their ranks and ripping them in their numbers as they weren't through.
