Chapter 185
Dracula had converged at the edge of his territory as he had been instructed to do. He was not alone. He came with all his new 6 Generals; Apollo, Jones, Tasha, Matthias, Kim and Cleopatra. He didn't know if she would show up tonight at midnight as she had earlier planned 2 weeks ago. He waited in the darkness of the night, only the full moon illuminating the night.
It was now a quarter past midnight and Dracula had lost faith she would be coming as planned.
"The witch has not showed up as expected. Well I am not surprised, she never meant to help us anyways", Dracula said, as he took one final look around his surroundings. Suddenly he saw a lady approaching them from out of the blue. Her footsteps were totally silent, which was weird considering she was supposed to be walking on dead fallen leaves.

Lucas and Nicole were coming back from the apartment after having a nice time together. They had spent their evening in the central park of the city taking in nature and enjoying each other's warm company. It's been barely over 24 hours since Lucas proposed to Nicole and she had accepted his proposal to marry him. They had fixed their wedding for the following weekend, something lovely but private. Just the 2 of them with Mark and Andrew. Nicole would have loved Angela to come with them but she was nowhere to be found.As they walked into the building hand in hand, both of them happy and smiling, Lucas picked up a strong euphoric smell on the first floor. He was already used to the smell of Nicole, this couldn't be her. "Do you know who she is?", Lucas said, as he bent some inches away from them, so he was at eye level with them and looked into their eyes just in case they planned to lie to him. If they were truly out to harm Nicole they would try to pull a surprise strike on him, seeing only a few inches separating them or they would try to lie directly to his face. Whichever possibility it was Lucas was prepared for them all."No, we don't. We have never seen her before now!", Ambrosia said, scared to even look Lucas in the face. Lucas learnt all he could about Ambrosia and Mary as they stayed in their apartment and one thing that stood out for him was that he was the bridge connecting all of them together. He was the link between the witch, the werewolves, the vampire and even the humans. He understood all of them perfectly and he could be the key that could change everything.Lucas had never thought about his role in that light before until now. He knew he and his wife could not tag along with the vampire hybrids everywhere they were going to. It was practically impossible, so when the vampire hybrids were not with them how will they be safe?"I'll have that taken care of tomorrow. It was dawn the next day and Lucas was ready to make good his promise to Ambrosia and Mary. He also had other things he needed to accomplish. He knew the truth about how Mildred felt about him and needed to make things straight with her. He had done a lot of thinking through the night and his amazing brain and pieced together why things didn't go according to plan for her. As always Lucas was going to be going with his brothers to Dracula's territory and Nicole would come along with him as well.They were all ready and dressed. Lucas and his brothers had worn their black outfits as if they were going vampire hunting and Andrew was with his small backpack where their masks were kept.
