Dracula with the help of his generals had succeeded in keeping the truth of their defeat to the vampire hybrids a secret from the entire global vampire hierarchy, in fact he had replaced the 19,000 lost in the ill fated battle with more than 30,000 vampire originals.

Mildred sneaked back home, hoping no one had noticed her absence. When she got back, she noticed her room was exactly as she left it. She was relieved no one had come looking for her, including Alpha White.She headed to her bed to lie down from a frustrating evening she had with the Alpha hybrid. It's been almost a day since Nicole last saw either Angela or Charles. Since then he hadn't heard or seen either of them, which was usual. Nicole was surprised that Charles believed the trio of Lucas, Mark and Andrew could take on Lord Dracula and thousands of original vampires and win.It was a big revelation, one she had never considered before.
