Vladimir was the first to go for the bottle of human blood as he easily opened it with his superhuman strength and poured it into his wine cup until it filled to the brim.
He also poured some human blood into Katharine's wine cup until it was filled up.
"Let's say a toast", he said to Katharine, as he dropped the now almost empty bottle.
"To what exactly", she asked, unsure if they had a worthy event to celebrate.
"To life!", he said.
