Rider

I drove for around 200 miles. I arrived back at the compound about 3 hours later. I didn’t drive with any kind of purpose, I just needed to get out and drive.

When I arrived back inside the compound, my dad was waiting for me. “Prez.” I greeted. It sounds odd, calling him Prez in front of people. But too many people asked questions when I called him dad and I hated it. I don’t talk a lot and I hated people knowing my business. I’m a private person.

“How are you feeling now?” he asked, as we headed into his office and he closed the door.

“I’m fine.” I lied.

He raised his eyebrow, frowning at my blatant lie.

“Did you kill anyone?” he asked, usually, this would sound like a stupid question- it wasn’t for me.

I shook my head.

“Good. Let’s keep it that way for now, yeah?” I nodded m
