“Here.” Tank walked over to me and dropped an envelope in front of me.
“What’s this?” I asked, picking it up and inspecting it.
“A gift.” He answered cryptically.
I lifted the seal on the envelope and pulled out a ticket.
“This is an airline ticket.” I stated.
“Yeah, the brothers clubbed together, think of it as a going away gift.” He shrugged.
I smiled, “thank you Tank.” I had been worried about how I was going to get home. I didn’t have a lot of money as I was only a prospect, so I didn’t get paid a lot. I had looked into getting the bus, but it would take more than a full day to get back home.
