Ralph seemed to be having a blast with his new prominence and title as the new popular kid and the best in everything, Kyrell Johnson was now a thing of the past, as everyone seemed to have forgotten about him - even his so-called friends were now shamelessly shadowing Ralph like some lost pooches.

As much as I was happy that I was no longer the object of bullying, being with Ralph also warranted me some attention that I detested more than anything, but looking at Ralph across the table as he conversed with his new friends, gleaming and too luminous for his own good, he loved the attention, and it was causing aversion in my stomach.
