No matter how much I felt and wanted to claw my skin and peel it off my body, I couldn't. And no matter how much I yanked my hair and tried to put out the voices, I couldn't.

I had no idea where I was, but I was surrounded by trees and covered in blood, which I-I-I believe belonged to a child.

I just killed a child.

I walked deeper into the forest, hoping to fall off a cliff and die, but no matter how far I walked, there were no cliffs high enough.

Tripping over my unsteady feet, I fell flat on my face and didn't bother moving. I cried into the dirt as I realized how disgusting I was.

I was a wanted man with nowhere to go and was insane. I killed and no amount of blood I got on my hands was enough to satisfy my hunger and desire.

That child. The look of innocence in his eyes and the look of fear and horror before the life in him was taken by me.

I did not realize I was doing anything wrong until his blood stained my hands. It was as if something had cleared
