I was falling through blackness. Ugh, here we go again. Meeting with the Goddesses, I suppose. Couldn’t they have done this during the day? I would really like to have a decent night's sleep after what happened today.

“Well, you could at least be the tiniest bit thankful to us for giving you the Sword of the Celestials. A thank you would be nice.” A sharp female voice said.

Goddess Danu stands in front of me, with her hands on her hips, and her eyes narrowed at me in annoyance.

“Wow, you’re actually on time! Where is Selene?”

“Right here darling. But Danu is right, you could at least say thank you. Had we not given you that sword, the battle would not have turned out like it had. There would have been total devastation and Beatrix, Calida, and Silas would have won.” Selene says, pissed.

“Alright. Thank you for giving me the sword. It was pretty awesome.” I say.
