“Why can’t he just step out of the car!” Vivian shouted loud enough for Ichabod to hear.
“I told you darling! He is a fucking Vampire that’s why!” Michael mumbled into Harmony’s ears as he held her around the neck, ignoring her whimper of pain.
Harmony was coughing. She kept holding on to Michael’s hand which was around her throat. Vivian was freaking out and Ichabod was looking at them… Why was he not doing anything?

Ichabod kept hitting the clutch…he was tempted to come out but that would jeorpardize everything!
He calculated the length of time that might be required to stay in the sun but he knew he stood no chance.

He checked the time for the fifteenth time and realized it was 11:30. This time, she was at a party with lots of white folks than she has ever seen before. There were lots of merry-making, music and dances…everyone was happy, including herself. It felt like the happiest day of her life until the door opened and a scary old woman opened the door…the music stopped all of a sudden and the man beside her stood up. He walked towards the woman. Harmony was busy planning for her birthday which was coming up the following day. Event center has been paid for and they still had lots of things to shop for.“You know you need an assistant,” Vivian said as they walked through the boutique.“An assistant? I already have you, what else do I need assistance for?” she replied while checking out a pink hat in the mirror.“Well, maybe you need to increase my payment cos I'm doing the work of two assistants,” Vivian replied, removing the hat from her head.“Maybe you need to stop complaining and be happy that you are my assistant.” Harmony replied, checking out a pair of glasses.Vivian frowned, “what are you checking that out for? When she finally came around, everything seemed a bit hazy to her, the back of her head throbbed so hard and she felt weak to her knees.She opened her eyes to a spinning room…she shut her eyes again and then opened them. Chapter 40Michael sat in one of the rooms in the building. He had about four screens in front of him, one was showing the entrance of the building, another, the frontal area and the rest showed several angles in the room.He was going to take down a monster tonight and he would show the whole world exist. He couldn’t imagine how it had found his way down to Nigeria. Once the world saw this, his public image would be boosted and he would become even more influential, recognized and richer than before. More so, he could take his child with him when he showed the video in court. How Harmony had been sleeping with a monster. Her whole reputation would be ruined.He looked at the ring on the table. Once the man appeared, he would attempt to save his beloved but he would find himself in a pentagon which he had drawn with a chalk on the floor where Harmony was bound. This was meant to restrain his movement. He would never be able to come out of the Pentagon.
