Chapter 36 Thirty-five

Aria made her way out of the room. She had changed into another dress. This kne was green just like her eyes. This time, she allowed her hair to fall freely. She walked up to Damien expecting Camile to be around but she was not there. She searched around for Camille. Damien noticed that she was looking for Camille. He could see it in her eyes.

“Camille had to leave, unfortunately,“ Damiem broke the silence and answered her unasked question.

Aria’s face morphed into worry. She suddenly felt abandoned and hurt. Why did Camille have to leave now. Just when she was beginning to get comfortable woth the activities that were taking place?

“Where did she go?“ Aria asked.

Damien placed worry on his face as he answered her. “Something important came up and her friend needed her. She had to go right away. Normally, the Luna of the pack would have been tge one to do so but Camille has been performing the Luna’s duty since her death,“ Damien explained.
