Eight years later...

There was a long period of time where I had lost the strong girl that would do everything in her power to make a point. To prove that I was better than anyone. If I didn't have a son to protect in all this, I would spend each and every day trying to escape. Yet if I made the wrong move like I did the first time, there's a chance my son would lose his mom, or worse he would get hurt. But there comes a time when enough is enough, and it starts today.
