OLIVIA
I WAS EXHAUSTED. I was both physically and mentally exhausted. I'm at home now, lying in my bed. My thoughts had become jumbled due to my encounter with my father at the restaurant. So I was distracting myself by scrolling through and checking my social media accounts.
My head was hurting a lot now because I'd seen the photos and videos I'd taken with Will earlier go viral in our school's social media groups. What is the source of that man's obsession? He irritates me to no end.
I was inundated with messages, and there are numerous comments on the photo saying we look great together and are a perfect couple. Will was also responding to them. He enjoys being in the spotlight. Stella, didn't she take care of that guy for me earlier? However, it appears that she failed in this endeavor.
OLIVIA "GOOD MORNING, DAUGHTER. Before you leave for school, eat a nutritious breakfast." When I got to the kitchen, my mother said something to me. I was already dressed in my uniform and ready to go to school. I had intended to eat a sandwich, but my mother had made a full breakfast. I sat on the nearest chair and placed my bag beside the chair next to where I was sitting. My mother will not let me go to school unless I eat what she has prepared. She may be the sweetest mother in the world, but if you ignore the food she has prepared for you, she can turn into a tiger. And I'm not ready to see that tiger this early. "Are you not going to work, Mom?" I asked her as I watched her prepare my food in front of me. It was nice to have someone take care of you before you went to school.
ZOEY"HEY, EINSTEIN," someone said as they tapped my back. I was taken aback by what they did and stared at the perpetrator confusedly.I had to adjust my glasses to see them."What the hell, Con," I said when I saw who was giving me a heart attack this early and went back to what I was doing.I was silently reading the review sheets for our quiz bee competition. It was our break time, so I went to a nearby, quiet location to read in peace. I'm sitting near the school fountain."What? You don't even remember me anymore?" she asked as she sat down beside me. "You've got a lot on your plate, my friend.""Sorry. You're aware that the quiz bee is approaching, and I'm having difficulty conc
CAMILA"ARE WE GOING TO THE NATIONAL LIBRARY THE NEXT DAY?" I polled my three lovely pals."Are you talking about the local quiz bee?" Naomi inquired."Yeah," I replied. We've arrived at the school grounds and are stretching in preparation for cheerleading practice, which will begin shortly."Isn't that tomorrow? Time certainly flies. The cheerleading competition will take place next month," Olivia stated that she, too, was stretching."Yeah. But I'm looking forward to the competition. I am confident that we will prevail. We're putting in a lot of effort, you know. And our new routines are fantastic," Stella stated."You girls gave a great pep talk. Come on, let's go. Practice will beg
ZOEY"YES, DAD. I'm now at home." Right now, I'm on the phone with my father. He called to congratulate me on our recent quiz bee victory. "I know it's late, but Nova insisted on us celebrating our victory at her house. Yes, Dad. I was completely stuffed. They looked after me and fed me delicious food. Okay, Dad. Then I'll see you on the weekend." I was searching through my bag for my keys. I discovered it right away. "Okay, Dad. I adore you, as well. Bye."I hang up the phone and unlock the door. After double-checking that the door was adequately locked outside, I went inside. I was done, and my stomach hurt. Nova made a lot of food, and it felt like there had been a feast in their house earlier, even though only the four of us would eat the food she made.I'm drowsy now because I'm so full. I walked past the living roo
ZOEYEVEN AFTER THE CONFESSIONS LAST NIGHT, OLIVIA AND I'S RELATIONSHIP WERE STILL THE SAME. She was more clingy than ever when we were at home, but she's still the same high and mighty queen when we're at school.I didn't confirm or deny my preference with her, but I was content with the thought that she was okay with whatever preference I had. And I was so concerned about nothing that it was affecting our relationship, but then again, I was the one who was overthinking things. Olivia only sees me as her sister. Nothing more. So, if I told her I liked her, would she still act like that? I'm not sure. But what matters now is that she accepts me, just like my Dad, for who I am. My father is aware that I am gay. I came out to him during my first year of high school, and he didn't mind. He accepts me for who I am.
OLIVIA"I CAN'T believe Camila will do this to us!" Stella said with so much anger in her voice. She sat on the bench but stood up and stomped her feet. She's frustrated. We are here on one of the benches in the tracking field after lunch. We are still stunned by the incident that Camila pulled just to defend her "friends," so we went there to chill."Stell, you are overreacting," Naomi commented. She looks relaxed while eating her ice cream. Gladly, it was not so sunny, and the sun's brightness didn't hurt that much."What? Are you not even going to say something about Camila's stupidity today? Do you not remember what she did? Huh?" Stella faced Naomi as if she was asking for a fight. Naomi seems not affected."What's wrong with
ZOEY "MAY I TAKE YOU HOME?" Camila spoke in hushed tones. I was a little concerned because some members conversed with me while preparing my belongings. The dance practice had already ended, and I was preparing to leave. "Oh, you surprised me," I said, relieved. I thought one of the club members recognized me. "Sorry. Can we go home together?" Camila inquired yet again. "Um... Maybe next time, Cam." I need to get somewhere after this. You go home first, okay?" I told her. I'd finished packing my belongings. "I see..." she said, still standing in front of me. "Ella, may I ask you a question?" Camila is used to calling me by my first n
ZOEY "KIDS? Why are you not eating?" Mom inquired of us. We've arrived at our favorite restaurant for lunch. We're celebrating my victory in the quiz bee competition. "Girls? Is there a problem?" My father, too, inquired. Olivia's unease is palpable. Because I was startled, I was unable to respond immediately. Especially when Olivia and my arms touch. I felt like I was being electrocuted, so I had to pull my arm away from her. "I-i was eating," I said, awkwardly smiling. Because it was falling, I touched the middle of my eyeglasses. Why am I so worried? Because I was looking away, I didn't notice our parents' skepticism. Olivia, too, was quiet.
