Siege of the Bandit Fortress: Middle

As Kirou fell over the cliff, there was a distinct lack of an expression on his face. Unlike the fear and apprehension of a weak-willed person or the excitement that would be present on the face of a thrill-seeker, Kirou's facial expression was one of indifference. It was as if he wasn't actively falling to his death, but was instead dealing with a mundane task.

While the members of the bandit stronghold still had their attention focused on the siege attacks, Kirou's figure was getting closer to the base's interior. Conversely, this also meant that he was that much closer to the ground without anything to cushion his fall, nor could he deploy something as attention-grabbing as a parachute behind enemy lines.

Instead, the moment Kirou was close enough to the ground, roughly twenty meters or so, he deployed his wires to a nearby structure and used them to alter his trajectory.
