Chapter 23: Limitless Learning

As Jon left the school, he could not help but feel indignant.

"Why does this have to happen to me?" he cried out loud.

Suddenly, his vision blurred. Tears streamed down his cheeks as he ran home.

"How should I break the news to my parents?" Jon was filled with apprehension about his future. "How will my family survive?"

He veered from his usual path home to cool down by himself before he met his parents.

Sitting by himself on a bench at a sidewalk, he played out scenarios that may occur and tried to think of ways to respond.

"I can only train on my own now," he bravely presumed.

When he saw looked at the sky and saw a beautiful sunset marred by smog, he plucked up his courage and made his way home.

Jon could not help but feel guilty when he saw his mother waiting for him to come home from school.

"I am home," Jon calmly said as his mother walked up to greet him.

"How are you Jon?" his mother's eyes were filled with concern. "You look very tired and unhappy."
