Chapter 38

Alessia's POV

I just woke up because of the sound of chickens crowing. I feel like I've overslept because as soon as I wake up I'm sleepy again. I got up and looked out the window. The sky is painted with colorful hues in yellow, white, and blue.

My forehead was wrinkled because the sun had just risen. If I remember correctly, it should be late afternoon by this time. Did I sleep all day? Is that why I feel like this because I overslept?

I couldn't do anything because it happened so I just got some clothes from the dresser. I was even more surprised when I saw the clothes folded inside. There are white, blue, yellow, and other colors. But it was surprising that they were of a different style than what I was used to wearing here at Valeria.

I took one and looked at it. I picked up the blue one. There is a gold chain that serves as a tie from the front cover to the back.

"Aren't this...a greek style dress?" I blurted out. I didn't expect this and I feel like grandpa made the wrong cloth
