Chapter 39

Alessia's POV

My recovery was quick because of the medicines I was given. In just two days I was able to walk normally again. We didn't leave Avalone because someone was still sick and there were still a few attacks from monsters.

But the monstrous attackers were no longer basilisk-like, only small ones that the sentinels could fight without Elijah's help.

The last time Elijah and I talked was when he walked me to my tent after I used his toilet. That was never followed through as he became busy with meetings with senior officials and the plan to resurrect Avalone.

I finished taking a shower today and just put on a blue kimono with a thin one and I tied my hair. I want to talk to Elijah about the bad vision I found out. It's up to him whether he listens or not.
