Caraline looked up to see who had spoken just now. She quickly got up when she saw Catherine haughtily standing nearby. Turning toward the door, she could see that Helen had just arrived in the room.

"Miss Caraline," Helen said as she approached with a guilty look on her face.

"What do you want, Catherine?" asked Caraline harshly, "don't make my morning as ruined as yours."

Catherine took a deep breath, tucking a lock of hair behind her ear. Rather than answer Caraline's question, she was more interested in looking around her cousin's room. It had been a long time since she had visited this place. "I must admit you have pretty good taste. But unfortunately, it's inversely proportional to your life."
