The whole room was in an uproar with the news. All eyes were immediately on Diego. Television and internet channels instantly highlighted the shock that had befallen Diego and Caraline. Some of the guests were whispering with probing looks.

"This must be a mistake, sir," Diego said, still forcing a smile, "I'm not involved in any crime. I can prove that I am innocent of all charges."

Diego clenched his fists tightly. The man could not contain his shock. He had bribed the mouths of police officers and media owners to cover up his crimes. However, what happened was beyond his control. The only thing he could think of at the moment was that there was a big figure behind this event.
