"It’s too bad, I don't believe in miracles." Caraline deliberately chose to sit in a chair that Diego did not pull out. She crossed her legs, smiling haughtily.

Unexpectedly, Diego suddenly squatted in front of Caraline. He took a handkerchief from his pants pocket, cleaning Caraline's feet. "This will make you feel better."

"What... are you doing?" asked Caraline in a panicked tone. The woman immediately restrained Diego's hand. Seeing the CEO of a famous automotive company acting like this toward her was making her uncomfortable. "I can do it myself."

"Let me be in charge." Diego removed Caraline's fingers from his hand one by one. "I made you take off your shoes. So let me put them back on."

"I... just don't want anyone to think anything of it." Caraline objected.

"It would be better if in my position I gave you a ring instead of putting your shoes on." Diego chuckled briefly, fitting the heels onto Caraline's smooth feet. Once he was done, he sat down in the chair he had pulled
