74. Divorce

After finishing her remaining work, Veronica hurried to her father's office. She didn't have any premonitions or bad thoughts at the time.

Upon entering her father's office, Veronica acted as usual. She approached and hugged him briefly before starting the conversation.

"Why did you suddenly ask me to come here, Dad? Is what you want to talk about really serious?"

Damian nodded. His expression remained flat. Perhaps he was still upset about remembering Darwin's bad behavior toward his daughter. He couldn't believe that Veronica had been treated so unfairly by her own choice.

"Take a seat," Damian ordered after a brief silence.

Veronica complied and pulled a chair, sitting right in front of her father.

"What's going on, Dad?"

"I just want to ask, how is your relationship with Darwin?"
