Eleven: Moving In

INEZ'S POV

I woke up feeling sore all over my body. My eyes were heavy with sleep, and as I yawned and stretched, I squinted around the dimly lit room. For a moment, I couldn't see anything, and the panic started to rise in my chest. It reminded me of the dungeon, where I was left alone in the dark for days on end.

But as my eyes adjusted to the dim light, I saw that I was in the small room with plain, bare walls.

I heard some knocks on the door, but I was too scared to respond. The memories of the dungeon were still fresh in my mind, and I didn't want to face any more trauma. However, the knocking persisted, becoming louder and more persistent with each passing moment.

Eventually, the door opened, and a guard walked in. I recognized him as one of the men who had whipped me in the past. My heart began to race as I tried to shrink back into the bed, hoping he wouldn't notice me.
