Hayden POV

I've been so upset the past few days and I've been thinking about Rylan, sometimes getting lost in my thoughts. I couldn't concentrate sometimes in meetings and Skye would have to nudge me to jolt me of my thoughts and inform me on what I had missed through mindlink.

After talking to one of my gammas and scolding him for raising his hand at his omega mate on some occasions, I returned back to my office

I called Kathrina and set a date we both could chill out. Dropping my phone on the table, Skye walked in with a binder

"You've got a meeting in an hour," he said and I nodded

"You seem a bit disturbed and annoyed these past few days," Skye, who obviously must have been watching me lately, said as he went through my schedules

"I'm…"

"Don't say you're fine. It doesn't seem like it." He dropped the binder on my side of the table.

"You had a heated argument with your mate?"

"No. It's Rylan. He's been in my head these past few days."

"Really? Why?" Skye asked, taking one
