CHAPTER EIGHT

As Destino and Argen walked out from the ballroom. He suddenly grabbed Argen’s wrist and lead her onto way upstairs through the last hallway from her room. Argen was stunned to speak, and she didn’t even complain about the sudden pull of Destino on her hands. He slowly intertwined their fingers and silently chuckled when he felt her hands cold.

“Are you freezing?” Destino casually asked and saw how Argen blushed. He figured out how vulnerable Argen was. She easily trusts people and undeniably kind deep inside. Destino pulled her hand closer and put it inside the pocket of his coat. “I cannot imagine we’re crazily closed with each other’s hands right now.”

Argen couldn’t help to escape a smile from her lips. She was pure, innocent, and easy to befriend.
