Chapter Eighty-Seven: Boys Do Fall Inlove

Gabbie was secretly hoping that they could cross the line from being childhood friends into something more special. She started having special feelings towards Dennis when they became junior high school students. Then her feelings started to grow on their first year in high school, but she decided to keep it a secret from.him. And now they are on their senior year in high school, she really wants to let Dennis know her feelings about him.

"Gabbie, are you even listening to me?" she suddenly heard Dennis' voice.

"Huh? What is it again?" Gabbie asked, while looking a bit startled.

"Aha! So I was talking to myself all along!" Dennis said, while looking amused.

"Sorry, I was just thinking of something." she said.

"You're still thinking about the swimming competition?" Dennis inquired, while looking concerned.

"Well, yes. And some other things too." enunciated Gabbie.

"You don't have to pressure yourself, Gab." Dennis gave her an advice.

"Hmm... Dennis?" Gabbie suddenly calls out.

"Yes?"
