Chapter 42 In The Bathroom

Yvan furrowed his brows slightly and instructed Michael to get more ice.

Then, he carried Yuna into the bathroom and placed her into the bathtub to douse her with cold water.

With the arrival of fall in Jefton State, the chilly weather, coupled with the frigid water, prompted Yuna to instinctively wrap her arms around herself for warmth. However, before she could do so, Yvan’s hand shot out to grab her arm and raise it so her wound wouldn’t get wet.

In her delirious state, she could only feel the pain coursing through her body and her right arm being restrained and raised.

“Let…let go of me,” she protested weakly.

“Sit still.”

Yuna could vaguely make out Yvan’s voice, but her fluctuating body temperature caused by the drugs and the cold water left her too weak to open her eyes. Yvan continued to pour cold water over her body, causing her teeth to chatter uncontrollably and her red lips to turn a shade of purple.

Just then, Michael entered with the ice that Yvan had asked for.
