Edgar’s face paled at the words he heard Miller say, so he, who had been classified as a just man since the beginning of the case, was here supporting criminals and trying to put an innocent man in jail? He glanced at Simon who was sitting in his box watching the entire drama unfold as if it had nothing to do with him and sighed.

There must be nothing new about what was happening right now for this man. He glanced at Mike who was doing the questioning and he felt like he finally knew why Mike was better than himself, it was simple, he had better eyes. He dropped the pen in his hand in resignation and rested back in his chair determined to watch the rest of the court session, he had no other argument.

“Miss Miller, no one is judging you, I only asked if you knew the man in the video,” Mike asked again, obviously unbothered by Miller’s weeping, as all the other people watching her were. In fact, a lot of people now felt irritated by her weeping.

“Yes.”

“Who is he?’”

“Mr. Joshua Stone!”
