“Alvira, Alvira please!”

Simon, who didn’t know he was being discussed, shouted, Alvira turned around and was shocked to see him standing on the stairs, no… on his feet.

“You… you can walk.” Alvira stuttered with shock and Simon smiled as he climbed the stairs, while holding onto the railing for support.

Yes, he could walk, but it wasn’t smooth yet. His nerves which had been compressed for so long made his legs feel like they were not his, especially his right leg, it was still a little stiff and hurt when he put in too much effort to walk especially when he climbed stairs, so he walked unnaturally as if his legs were mechanical and not his at all.
