“Hayley, please you need to calm down,” Lance said, trying to make me settle on my bed.

“Calm down, when I’m under a threat, the vampire wants me and I think my sister too and you’re telling me to calm down?” I replied, not responding to him but pacing back and forth.

A normal person would not be calm if they received a message like that, especially after the vampire had come to threaten me a few minutes ago in person.
