Don't Act Stupid

My legs refused to move, I wanted to go as he had instructed but my legs did not move from their position.

"I brought you food and I–"

"I do not want it, go!"

His voice got darker and filled with more anger but I still was unmoving.

"You haven't left your room since I came here and everyone else ate and I thought I should bring something for you," I insisted innocently. He was hovering above me dominantly, making me look like his prey. I did nothing but help increase his anger but I couldn't help myself.

"You think you can just walk anywhere you wish and assume as you want because I brought you here?" he demanded and I whimpered softly.

"But I'm your mate," I said. My voice came out more pathetic than I wanted it to sound. I did not want to look weak and frail in front of him or anyone, but it was as if I had no choice at all.
