"Hayley I didn't like the report I got," Lance began. "You and your family need to conduct yourselves properly for the period of time you'll be staying together."

I nodded and answered, "I'm sorry."

"You're free to go!"

"Okay but how was your day?"

"I said leave," he replied, fuming.

I blamed myself for lacking my usual self-control. If I had not gone ahead to punch Elena then none of this would have been happening. Lance would probably have been in a good mood and we would have had a nice friendly conversation. I was hoping he would snap out of his foul mood soon. I passed some people already making their way to the living room because the movie was about to start.
