The Next Day,

I avoided Mr. Knight like a plague. After trying to get the reason I was a bit sad out of me, he finally got the hint to leave me alone. When he brought me home this morning, we barely spoke a word to each other.

I needed space to quell the jealousy that threatened to consume my mind. He didn't belong to me, yet I was always upset at the mention of another woman in his life.

Hearing him asking someone to care for a lady made me sick to the stomach. I knew that it wasn't Ellie because he would have called her name, and there and then I took my decision.

I walked into class that morning with a banging headache. Lectures were supper to begin at ten a.m, " Hey, babe. it's been long I saw you!" Alexis exclaimed as she grinned from ear to ear when I got to our seat.

I rolled my eyes, " Hmm, one would think that I went away for a very long time." I responded an me she chuckled.

"What can I say? I've missed you a lot. You weren't replying your messages." She s
