Mate Is Beautiful

Knight's POV

'Mate is beautiful.' My wolf uttered in awe of Aubrey as she folded her arms and stared at me with defiance shining in those depths.

" What are you doing here?" She challenged.

I dipped my hand into my pocket as I scanned her room. It was neatly arranged. It was obvious that she just cleaned the room.

" You have a nice place," I commented and watched in amusement as she kissed her teeth in irritation. If it were another in this position, I would have laughed so hard, at the irony of me being mated to this little girl. Well, she had filled out in the right places.

Her eyes narrowed at me in anger, " You still haven't answered my question." She replied.

The air crackled with tension, my wolf was going mad in my head. 'Mate is so gorgeous when angry.'

" You feel it too, don't you?" I walked towards her, and she moved a step back before planting her feet and staring me square in the eyes. Other people's heads would have rolled for this similar action.
