“Thank you, ma’am,” I said, giving the old lady her change.

“You are welcome, my dear,” she said, taking her change. Then she took her grandkids with her and left. Liam and his dad are not here yet. I need to bake more doughnuts. I entered the kitchen in the back and wore my apron. I heard the doorbell ring. I ran to the counter and I saw Liam.

“Hey Liam, where is your dad?” I asked

“Right here,” he said, coming in.

“So are you guys here to hangout or buy something?” I asked.
