Chapter Fifty-nine ( Home To Chaos)

As Arric slowly opened his eyes, he felt a sharp pain in his head and a strong sensation of dizziness. His back felt raw and the pain was excruciating. He couldn't immediately recall where he was or what had happened, but as he took in his surroundings, it all started to come back to him. He remembered the meeting, the sudden gas leak that had caused chaos and panic, and his desperate efforts to lead the humans out of the building before the explosion had ripped through the air.

The first thing he noticed was the steady hum of an aircraft engine and the gentle swaying of the cabin around him. He tried to sit up, but his muscles were weak, and his body felt heavy and sluggish. He looked around and saw that he was lying on a bed, surrounded by his team. Bishop was standing next to him, with a relieved smile on his face.

"Bless the goddess! Boss, you're awake," Bishop said, placing a hand on Arric's shoulder.
