Chapter 67

The house is filled with people and although all the people that are invited were close to our family. I don't recognize most of the guest that came, but they all knew who I am.

I had met some of them when I was a little boy, leaving me no memory of who they were.

As I try to look for my father, I get delayed by people calling me over to their conversation, asking me questions and telling me stories that I don't remember happening.

I finally saw my father drinking champagne with his peers by the fireplace. All of them had solemn faces, talking something important. Maybe it's about the business again.

"Father," I called him in a soft whisper, but his friends still noticed me.

"Son!" My father said loudly and placed his hand over my shoulder.

I raised my hand and shook hands with his friends, that I don't recognize.

Father have a lot of friends and connections in and out of the country. He calls a lot of people friends and I can't memorize them all.<
