“Aren’t you going over, Mr. Cedric?” the maid enquired in bewilderment. Cedric scowled and shook his head. He was unaware of the conflicting feelings and pain in his gaze. She might hit him with the vase if he went over now.

His cell phone, which was in vibration mode, buzzed. He took out his cell phone in irritation, looked at the unfamiliar number on it, and rejected the call. His cell phone vibrated again when he was about to slide his cell phone back into his pocket. It was an unread text message.

‘Cedric, I’ll be returning to Carlosia shortly. How have you been?’ There was also a list of flight information below the sentence as well.
