Awakening the Dragon Queen
Titan walked into the King's chamber, noting the tension in the air as two foreign men sat on the ground, detained by the Royal guard. A tiny figure lay in the King's bed, surrounded by attentive females at Adrastus's request and the old healer shook her head tsk-tsking before she released her scent causing them to flee the room. Everyone was a little afraid of the old healer and she saw no reason to change their opinion. It allowed her to work in peace, and as the only medicine woman in the mountains, sometimes solitude was the only way Titan could recharge.
A subtle power shift announced the arrival of the King, and Titan sank to her knees in supplication. Adrastus wasted no time offering his old friend a hand up, hurrying with her over to the bed.
